So I like to do landscapes and I always drive and walk around for new locations to photograph and I like to go out in the potato fields and see what I can find so the monarch silo and idaho sky were shot about 10 miles out in the fields and for the most part are straight out of my camera. The rexy pana is a blend of three pictures that I put together to make a panoramic view of the temple. Stormy skies I used my tripod and a remote and pointed my camera is the direction of the lightening and just held the shutter open until a lightening bolt would appear and I would release. Teton drive is one of my favorite photographs that I have taken, I went out to the drive in close to 11:30 at night and put my camera on a tripod and held the shutter open for around 16 minutes and this is what I came out with. With the two portraits I've been trying a new technique of editing. Called the dragan effect which brings out the facial expressions of the person and defines their face more.
Sweet pictures! I'm very impressed. I'm just a beginner at taking pictures, but you have some major talent going on. I totally thought the Teton Drive-in picture was taken in the day time, or at dusk. Judging by the star streaks, I'm guessing it was pretty dark. You could seriously print and frame them and sell them, if you wanted. Your pictures make me excited to get into photography more.
ReplyDeleteHey Jordi thank you so much! This comment means a lot photography is my life and It is always great to hear good feed back! And keep up the good work photography is all about having a passion for it and practice.
ReplyDeleteI'll add some comments here to explain WHY I like your pictures. Rexy Plana is a unique shot of the temple in that it is a panoramic. I like how you took it at sunset and got the sunset right behind the temple so it almost looks like the glow is radiating from the temple.
ReplyDeleteMonarch Silo is composed very well and has just nice, bright, solid colors.
You could have left the gradient border off of the picture of Savannah Bush. It made it look a little dark.
I'll say it again, though, you have a lot of talent for photography!
